Officer with Sabre Small - Kay Bojesen

Discover the charming little Officer with a saber, in red, blue, and white colors. This smaller version from Danish designer Kay Bojesen is made from FSC-certified wood and paper. This means that no more wood has been felled than the forest can naturally reproduce. Be careful when placing the saber. Gently place the saber in the officer's hand. It is not necessary to push the saber all the way in – only until it is secure. The Officer first saw the light of day in 1940 in connection with King Christian X's 70th birthday and was a tribute to the Danish king. At that time, the beautiful wooden figure and the other soldiers were about one meter tall. Fortunately, it was only two years before the fine soldiers were launched in smaller versions. With the magnificent Officer, you can therefore invite a piece of Danish history into your home – an obvious guest at the birthday breakfast table, as a nice gift for the soldier, and for those who appreciate Danish design.
