Etly Klarborg, the artist behind Klarborg gnomes and the Klarborg brand, has been designing her beautiful and chubby Klarborg gnomes for over 30 years. Since Etly opened her own farm shop in 1986, she has created more than 300 different gnome and troll designs. Etly Klarborg designs her gnomes from the heart and draws inspiration from small children and babies, and the classic Danish Christmas. "Hygge" (coziness), love, respect, play, and fantasy are some of the words Etly uses in her design process and is inspired by when a new design is born.
