The Hammershøi Summer lunch plate, adorned with the coastal flower theme, measures 22 cm in diameter and is perfect for summer's grand cold buffet, whether you're hosting the party of the year or simply want to create an authentic summer cozy feeling on the table and around the home. With Hammershøi Summer and the coastal flowers, we announce that summer is upon us, just as the coastal flowers, accompanied by seashells and tiny beach creatures in a muted and calm color palette, can help create the atmosphere of a stroll on the beaches along the Danish coastline – and remind us to take an extra breath and be present. The coastal flower theme is painted in the same way as the other themes in the Hammershøi Summer series, where plants and flowers almost spontaneously move across the classic grooves on the white ceramic pieces. It's as if they almost grow up, yes, almost dance across the porcelain with their various asymmetrical directions. The motifs are created by artist Rikke Jacobsen on the existing pieces of the Hammershøi dinnerware, designed by Hans-Christian Bauer.
