Etly Klarborg, the artist behind the Klarborg elves and the Klarborg brand, has been designing her beautiful and chubby Klarborg elves for over 30 years. Since Etly opened her own farm shop in 1986, she has created more than 300 different elf and troll designs. Etly Klarborg designs her elves from the heart, inspired by small children and babies, and classic Danish Christmas. "Hygge" (coziness), love, respect, play, and imagination are some of the words Etly uses in her design process and is inspired by when a new design is born. The Klarborg elves bring classic Danish Christmas into Danish homes and help spread coziness and joy to many people's homes. Real elves exist – Klarborg elves.
