Klarborg Pixies 2009

For me, Christmas tree ornaments should be something special, preferably decorations that become a fixed tradition on the tree. I have ornaments given to me by my grandmother and my mother, and these decorations have been on my first Christmas tree since 1980 and will continue to be there until the end of my life. When my boys leave the nest and have their first Christmas tree in their own home, they will receive an item from their great-grandmother's and grandmother's Christmas tree, and of course, a set of my Christmas tree ornaments, and I hope this tradition will continue for many generations to come. It gives a warm feeling inside when you look at the tree and think: "There hangs grandmother's beautiful glass bauble, and there are mother's homemade paper cones with a crinkled handle." I would like to pass on this tradition to other families with these sweet and fun little ornaments. I must also remember to mention that in our home, it's a tradition for the attic pixie to decorate our Christmas tree overnight.
