For me, Christmas tree ornaments should be something special, preferably decorations that become a fixed tradition on the tree. I have ornaments given to me by my grandmother and my mother, and these ornaments have been on my first Christmas tree since 1980 and will continue to be there until the end of my life. When my boys leave the nest and have their first Christmas tree in their own home, they will get something from their great-grandmother's and grandmother's Christmas tree, and of course a set of my Christmas tree pendants, and so I hope it will continue for many generations to come. It gives a warm feeling inside when you look at the tree and think: There hangs grandmother's beautiful glass bauble, and there are mother's homemade paper cones with a curly handle. I want to pass on this tradition to other families with these cute and fun little pendants. I must remember to mention that here in our home, it is a tradition that the goblin in the attic decorates our Christmas tree at night.
Etly Klarborg, who is the artist behind the Klarborg goblins and the Klarborg brand, has designed her beautiful and plump Klarborg goblins for more than 30 years. Since Etly opened her own farm shop in 1986, it has resulted in more than 300 different goblin and troll designs. Etly Klarborg designs her goblins with her heart and with inspiration from small children and babies, and the classic Danish Christmas. Coziness, love, respect, play, and imagination are some of the words that Etly uses in her design process and is inspired by when a new design is born.
