"For me, Christmas tree decorations should be something special, preferably ornaments that become a fixed tradition on the tree. I have ornaments that my grandmother and my mother gave me, and those ornaments have been on my first Christmas tree since 1980 and will continue to be so until the end of my life. When my boys leave the nest and get their first Christmas tree in their own home, they will receive an item from their great-grandmother's and grandmother's Christmas tree, and of course a set of my Christmas tree ornaments, and that's how it should continue for many generations to come. It gives a warm feeling inside when you look at the tree and think: There hangs grandmother's beautiful glass bauble, and there are mother's homemade paper cones with a curly handle. I want to pass on this tradition to other families with these small, sweet, and fun ornaments. I must remember to mention that here in our home, it's a tradition that the attic pixie decorates our Christmas tree at night."
