Summerberry Bowl Ø21 cm - Kähler

Blooming colours, shapes, and the feeling of an authentic summer atmosphere. With Hammershøi Summer from Kähler, you can almost feel the sun's rays and the warm summer breeze when you set the table for coffee and a little something delicious on the patio, balcony, or in the summer house. The Hammershøi Summer series is inspired by the enchanting shapes, colours, and feelings of the Danish summer, and the Hammershøi Summer bowl with summer berries, with a diameter of 21 cm, like the other items in the summer berry theme, is beautifully adorned with, among other things, strawberries, blueberries, and the peacock butterfly, which playfully and poetically flies through the summer. The summer berry theme is painted in the same way as the other themes in the Hammershøi Summer series, where plants and flowers almost spontaneously move across the classic grooves on the white ceramic pieces. It is as if they almost grow up, yes, almost dance across the porcelain with their different asymmetrical directions. The bowl will be a beautiful addition to the other parts of the series – even across themes – where it will complete a happy and cosy summer atmosphere on the table, while you enjoy the authentic nostalgia of Kähler's handcrafted design traditions. It's easy to imagine the Hammershøi Summer bowl as the perfect base for a crisp salad from the garden, and both the size and, of course, the motif design make it ideal for serving a couple of punnets of freshly picked strawberries from the roadside stand or the nearby farm shop. The motifs are created by artist Rikke Jacobsen on the existing Hammershøi dinnerware pieces designed by Hans-Christian Bauer. With her beautiful watercolours, she creates detailed motifs where flora and fauna play a prominent role and capture the atmosphere of nature and the seasons around us.
